ABOUT LIAM
Liam returned home and joined Sampson McPhee Lawyers in 2015, after articling with a large regional law firm in Halifax. He received his Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie, where he attended on a $16000 annual Law Foundation of Nova Scotia scholarship. Liam’s practice consists primarily of civil litigation and personal injury. He also focuses his practice on corporate and commercial law, labour & employment and property law.
Liam has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and a diverse set of administrative bodies and tribunals. He has represented clients in negotiating with, and taking action against, insurance companies in order to recover damages under automobile insurance policies. He has represented individuals, businesses and insurance companies in property insurance, long-term disability and negligence claims, among other civil actions. Additionally, Liam has been involved in many commercial litigation proceedings, protecting and pursuing the interests of individuals and businesses.
